Read this from the stage.
Two versions. The short one takes about twenty seconds. The long one takes about a minute. Either way, the last line is the cue.
Pronunciation: Peach, like the fruit. Be Au Sm is said "be awesome."
The short version
Our next speaker spent 25 years in operations before he ever held a microphone. Since 2009 he has delivered more than 1,000 keynotes across North America, hosts two podcasts, and is the author of Be Au Sm: The Essential Elements to Living Your Legacy with G.R.A.C.E. He is the founder of the Be Au Sm movement, and he has one message for this room: live your legacy, not someday, today. Please welcome Joshua Peach.
The long version
Joshua Peach did not come to the stage from a stage. He came from the buildings. For 25 years he worked in operations and sales alongside the people who keep schools and organizations running, and he still shows up for them: at a school convocation he is the speaker at eight in the morning and the guy serving lunch and stacking chairs at two-thirty.
Since his first keynote in 2009 he has spoken more than 1,000 times across North America. His work has been recognized with the ASBO International Corporate Leader Award, the ISTE Making IT Happen Award, and honors from school business and plant management associations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and nationally. He hosts two podcasts and is the author of Be Au Sm: The Essential Elements to Living Your Legacy with G.R.A.C.E., endorsed by Mike Eruzione, captain of the 1980 U.S. Olympic gold medal hockey team, Howard Behar, the original president of Starbucks International, and Aron Ralston, whose story became the film 127 Hours.
His movement is built on three periodic elements that spell a phrase you will hear more than once today. Please welcome the founder of Be Au Sm, Joshua Peach.
